There is a tough competition to remake this film in Hindi. Popular Bollywood actors such as Salman Khan, Amir Khan, Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Kumar are showing keen interest to act in the Hindi remake version.
At this juncture, Lawrence is currently directing a Telugu film which has Prabhas abd Anushka in the lead roles. After this he will commence the shooting of Muni-3.

The film Kanchana has silently broken the records of Endhiran and Singam. In the TV TRP ratings, the film Endhiran has got 18 points and Singam has got 20 points. But when Kanchana was telecast in Sun TV, the TRP rating was 22 points.
