Director Bala’s Eriyum Thanal has got another hot face for the takes. It is heard that Bala has chosen actress Pooja to play a crucial role scripted for his Eriyum Thanal. Pooja’s role in the film will be next to Vedhika’s who plays the top lead opposite hero Atharva.
Eriyum Thanal hero Atharva, had his Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal fare badly at the theaters and is hoping to set things right for the Bala directorial. The director did have a screening test conducted for his new lady Pooja recently and is impressed with her performance for the role. Her confirmation for the film is still in the calls. It’s not for the first time that Pooja will be working under him as the two have worked for Naan Kadavul, the actress playing lead opposite Arya. She even bagged the Vijay Award for Best Actress for her act, only after applying black powder all over her body sans any makeup for the memorable role. Bala the taskmaster that he is, has made both Vedhika and Atharva act under grueling schedules. The movie also has actress Uma Riaz playing her role as Atharva’s mother.
Pooja is expected to sign for the film soon.
